 This Development was first selling homes in 1991 and the single family home builders were Crossley Custom Homes, Jager Homes, Stepper Custom Homes, Douglas Homes, Henry DeKort and Trico Homes. Sterling and Today’s homes have built some duplex units in this area. This development was winding down in 2006.

The area has a 9 acre lake that has a walking path around it. Families can also skate. It is not suitable for swimming. There are also small canals that run throughout this community. Thus the name Westcreek.

West Creek has a small shopping strip with a pub, a doctor, a Chinese restaurant, a Vietnamese Noodle house, a driving school, a Tae Kwon Do school, a dance school, a real estate office, a flooring company, a convenience store, a pizza delivery service, a liquor store, a gas station, a car wash, a Curves franchise and a wake board/skateboard shop.
