Rainbow Falls in Chestermere is a maturing community that is almost built out. It is home to the No-Frills grocery store and many other businesses including dance schools, family friendly fitness, medical, dental and physio, hair salon, nail salon, micro brewery, neighbourhood pub.
There are also great services just down the road at East Hills Shopping centre. Walmart, Costco, Movie Theater, restaurants and much more shopping.
There are both public and separate schools in the nieghbourhood.
There are beautiful walking paths throughout Rainbow Falls. The major canal coming in from the Bow River borders this community. There are also smaller canals that connect to the ponds in the community. All of the ponds have paved pathways. The bike path joins up the the Trans Canada Trail, so you can ride your bike into Calgary along the canal that will connect you to all of the bike paths in Calgary. On the other side of the canal you can walk your dog without having to deal with cyclists or most walkers.
Chestermere is a town of 20,000. Just across the road from the Calgary city limit it is Calgary's closest neighbour.
