The Cove is located on the North-East side of Chestermere Lake. It features 40 lakefront homes with the balance of the homes being off of the lake. The first homes in this area were built on Cove Road and were started in the late 1990's. Lakefront lots in this area were 60 feet wide by about 200 feet deep. There is a beach area that has a playground focused on a pirate ship and a large beach area with fresh sand installed in 2018.  Further improvements are planned in 2024 with a water fountain to circulate the water and a pickleball court.  There are other beaches in Chestermere learn more here.

The Cove is fully developed. There are walk-out lots, with a variety of bungalow and 2 storey plans. The different phases had different builders, but most sales were done through designated builders and a showhome parade. There are homes that back onto green space, large pie lots, zero lot lines, and lakefront lots. There are no rear lanes in The Cove. Builders in the Cove were Crossley, Coco, Assured, Morrison, Douglas, Talisman, Godwin and Keystone.
