Westmere is near Chestermere's two new beach areas, the public boat launch and the pathway around the North end of the lake.

Kinniburgh is built around a fresh water reservoir and is bordered by the irrigation canal that has a pathway going east and a bike path that joins up to Calgary and the Transcanada Trail.  ( a cross Canada Bike Path).

Kinniburgh public students will attend East Lake School from K-9 and Chestermere High School from 10 - 12
